The United States Bankruptcy Court for Eastern Pennsylvania covers a large area around the City of Philadelphia, including Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks, Berks, Chester, Lancaster, Lehigh, and Northhampton Counties. In Chapter 7 cases, trustees are assigned depending upon where the debtor lives. Chapter 13 hearings are assigned to trustees for Philadelphia, Reading, or Allentown.
